Polis is a small town at the north-west end of the island of Cyprus, at the centre of Chrysochous Bay, and on the edge of the Akamas peninsula nature reserve. It is a quiet tourist resort, the inhabitants' income being supplemented by agriculture and fishing. Polis is served by the fishing port of Latchi.

Latchi is a small village that is part of the Polis municipality in Cyprus. It has a small harbour and a large shingle beach, with a selection of restaurants.  You can hop on a boat for a trip to the clear waters of the blue lagoon, and jump in and swim, snorkel enjoying the warm waters of the lagoon.
